Kia ora! I provide Speech and Language Therapy for people of all ages: preschoolers, children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors. I’ve practised as a Speech and Language Therapist since qualifying in 2006. When you invest in private therapy with me, you gain access to my 19+ years of direct clinical experience and professional development.

I provide a range of services to cater for all communication needs and budgets. My fees are competitive but reflect my senior clinical expertise, as well as the personalised, goal-focused service and range of practical tools you will receive.

Overview: What I Offer

Do you or your loved ones have concerns with any of the following?

Speech
I can help with lisps, poor clarity, inability to produce certain speech sounds, or difficulties with using sounds correctly in words or sentences.

Fluency
I can treat stutters (developmental or acquired), and rapid rate of speech.

Language

I can assist people of all ages who have difficulties understanding other people, who struggle with following instructions, or who have poor receptive vocabulary.

Literacy
I can provide support with reading and/or writing that is below aged-peers.

Formal diagnosis
I provide diagnoses and therapy for a range of conditions, including Developmental Language Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Stutter, Dysarthria, Language Processing Disorder, Aphasia, and Specific Language Impairment. For other conditions where assessment is led by different professionals (such as Auditory Processing Disorder, ADHD, or Autism Spectrum Disorder), I assist with the diagnostic process and will provide therapy.

Medical diagnosis
I provide therapy to assist with communication difficulties related to conditions including Traumatic Brain Injury, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, stroke, Fragile X syndrome, and others.

Initial Consultation

1 hour. For anyone

$180

Discussion about your communication concerns with an experienced speech and language therapist. Professional advice and guidance provided. Can be a one-off appointment. Requires a $50 non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking.

Assessment of Language Skills

1.5 hours. 4-21 years

$225

Assesses understanding and use of language. Uses formal and standardised assessment tools, gathering information on strengths and challenges. Written summary provided.

Lisp-Specific Therapy

Assessment required beforehand

30 min: $100 | 45 min: $130

Directly targeting the elimination of a frontal or lateral lisp. Sounds that are impacted include: S, Z, SH, CH, and/or J. Only applicable when no other speech or language issues require therapy.

Indirect Therapy

Assessment required beforehand

45 min: $150 | 60 min: $180

Therapy focuses on parental teaching and coaching to support their loved one’s communication skills at home. Written tasks and activities are provided.

Referral Letter

Assessment of Speech Clarity

1 hour. 3 years and older

Formal assessment gathering information on speech sound formation and practice use when speaking. Written summary provided.

Assessment of Pre-Verbal Skills

1.5 hours. Under 3 years

$225

Gathering formal and informal information on a child’s communication skills. Written summary provided. Also for minimally verbal language.

Direct Therapy

Assessment required beforehand

30 min: $100 | 45 min: $140 | 60 min: $170

One-on-one sessions with an experienced speech and language therapist. Brief update to the support person/parent on progress and practice. Homework tasks and resources provided until the next therapy appointment in 1-2 weeks.

Combination Therapy

Assessment required beforehand

45 min: $150 | 60 min: $180

A session with an experienced speech & language therapist, where time is split evenly between providing direct therapy, and coaching the parent to do similar. Discussion of home reinforcement is also provided. In person appointments only.
